Dr. Scott Howell received his DDS from Columbia University College of Medicine, completed a four-year residency at Harvard University in endodontics. He also received his Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard Medical School. He served as a pre-doctoral clinic instructor at Harvard in endodontics, endodontics resident at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Dental Center, and conducted research on periodontal disease and endodontics at the Forsyth Institute. Dr. Howell has worked in both private practice in California and Texas and the military as the endodontist on staff at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Divisional Excellence Award from Columbia University, the Krakow Award for Excellence in Research from Harvard University, and the Excellence in Endodontics Award from the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Howell has written and published several articles in his field and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, regional dental societies, and the American Association of Endodontists.
